Not really sure where I am supposed to post clips. Upon re watching The Darjeeling Limited I really enjoyed this particular uncut pan shot of the train and its occupants.
(beginning of the video)
Awesome clip Graeme!
Love the song too
I dont know where to post clips either so il just do it here. One of my favorite scenes from Kids.
Amazing clip!
It really blurs the boundaries between fiction and reality. This is definitely Clark’s best. The soundtrack is perfect too… really adds to the meditative feel of the scene.
Thanks Jacob!!
Michel Gondry is a filmmaker that drives me nuts.
Go to about “5:28″ and see what happens. It’s one “cut” in theory, but it’s not really. I’ve watched it again and again and I figure it’s actually a splitscreen with the wooden lamp pole acting as the split (at around 5:45, it’s the one second where Carrey disappears completely behind something as he runs) if that makes sense. If you look closely you see Jim Carrey’s arm give a little twitch as Gondry meshes the two pieces of film together. That’s just my theory. Anyone else want to give a guess at how an earth this guy does it?
Regarding categorical documentaries (I think it’s categorical, I haven’t seen it in a while), Dark Days is really good. It is by Marc Singer and it’s about “Mole People” of the underground world (Freedom Tunnel) of New York City.

Heres one of my favorite scenes from Pulp Fiction
It is a great scene, its a combination of intensity and dry humour
Awesome scene! I never get sick of watching Pulp Fiction
